Warranty Policy

At store.zstarrblinds.com, we stand behind the quality of our motorized shades. Your satisfaction and peace of mind are important to us. That’s why we offer a straightforward 3-year limited warranty on all motors, remote controls, and related components — starting from the date of purchase.

Please note: Our warranty policy only covers products purchased from store.zstarrblinds.com. Products bought from other sellers may not be eligible for the same warranty support.

What’s Covered

Our 3-year warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
  • Motor systems, remote controls, and smart controllers.
  • Custom-made products installed on the windows they were originally designed for.

We’ll repair or replace any defective parts or products, or offer a refund at our discretion.

Additional Coverage:

  • Motors, remotes, and smart bridges: Covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of delivery. This includes any manufacturing defects or functional issues under normal residential use.
  • Fabric, vanes, and slats: Protected by a 2-year warranty against cracking or other material defects that occur with proper use.
  • Mounting brackets and hardware: Backed by a 3-year warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, including fading due to sunlight exposure.
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper installation.
  • Issues caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Damage resulting from acts of nature, such as floods, earthquakes, or extreme weather conditions.

Transport Damage Compensation:

  • Upon receipt of the item, if you find that the packaging is damaged, please retain photos or videos of the outer packaging.
  • Inspect the product for any damage and keep photographic records.
  • Once you have confirmed that the product is damaged, please provide the photos or videos and contact us via support@zstarrblinds.com.

Please note that we only accept claims for transport damage within 48 hours from the date the package is received. Furthermore, we do not accept transport damage claims if the product is undamaged.

How to Make a Claim

  1. Identify the Issue: If you believe your ZSTARR Shades, motor, or remote control are defective, first consult the user manual for troubleshooting tips.
  2. Gather Documentation: Keep your proof of purchase and any relevant documentation that details the issue.
  3. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team within the warranty period. You can contact us via phone, email, or through our website.
  4. Provide Details: Clearly describe the issue and provide the order number.
  5. Assessment: Our team will assess the claim and may request photos or additional information to diagnose the problem.
  6. Resolution: Depending on the assessment, we will offer a solution, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund at our discretion.

Extended Motor Warranty (Optional)

Want extra peace of mind? You can extend the motor warranty at checkout:

  • Extend to 4 years: $49
  • Extend to 5 years: $59

Note: Extended warranty applies only to the motor(s) you select. If you order multiple shades, you must purchase separate extensions for each.

If your original motor is discontinued, we’ll replace it with a compatible alternative to maintain functionality.

Limitations of Liability

ZSTARR’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

This warranty policy is subject to change without notice. The warranty terms provided herein are the complete and exclusive statement of the warranty and no other oral or written agreement will be recognized.
