How to Install Motorized Roman Shades

Enhance your home's comfort and convenience by installing motorized roman shades. Follow these straightforward steps to ensure a successful installation:

Tools You’ll Need:

  • Electric drill & screws (included)
  • Screwdriver (Phillips or flathead)
  • Tape measure & pencil
  • Level (to ensure straight installation)
  • Ladder (if needed)

Step 1: Measure and Mark

  1. Decide whether you want an inside mount (inside the window frame) or an outside mount (above the window frame).
  2. Use a measuring tape to measure the width and height of your window.
  3. Mark where the brackets will go using a pencil. Ensure they are level.

Step 2: Install the Brackets

  1. Hold the brackets in place where you marked.
  2. Use a drill to make pilot holes for the screws.
  3. Secure the brackets to the wall or window frame using the screws provided.

Step 3: Attach the Shade

  1. Align the roman shade with the brackets.
  2. Snap the shade into place.
  3. Make sure it is securely locked in.

Step 4: Final Adjustments

  1. Check if the shade rolls up and down smoothly.
  2. Adjust the limits (if needed) so it stops at the correct positions.
